Vocational Diagnostics, Inc. was retained to provide expert vocational opinions in the case of John Doe v. Catholic Bishop of Chicago, on behalf of an anonymous Plaintiff (Mr. Doe) who suffered sexual abuse by the Catholic Church. Michele Albers, M.S., L.P.C., C.R.C., C.L.C.P., reviewed the records provided and conducted a video conference clinical interview with Mr. Doe to assess his ability to work and earn wages following years of abuse and trauma. She provided opinions related to Mr. Doe’s earning capacity and subsequently testified to her opinions in a deposition. Her insights were instrumental in determining the impact of these experiences, not only on the Plaintiff’s vocational future and potential earnings but also on the past lost wages he incurred, supporting the firm’s mission to advocate for victims. The case was successfully settled before going to trial. VDI is privileged to have contributed to the positive outcome of this case.
