Michele Albers, M.S., L.P.C., C.R.C., C.L.C.P., was retained by Defense counsel in an Arizona case involving a Plaintiff who claimed respiratory/pulmonary injuries and cognitive dysfunction after alleged exposure to several dangerous pool chemicals. Despite these claims, the Plaintiff returned to work within months of the incident and continued working at full capacity for several years. He then went on to sustain additional injuries in an unrelated motor vehicle accident.
Ms. Albers’ vocational evaluation aligned with the medical findings, reinforcing that the Plaintiff was capable of full-duty employment considering the injuries sustained in the subject incident and that any ongoing limitations were unrelated to the alleged chemical exposure. Her analysis, based on peer-reviewed methodology, strengthened the defense position in this matter and helped lend support to settlement negotiations. Our retaining attorney noted, “This case has settled. Thank you and Michele for her assistance on this matter.”
