L. L. v. Sara Bilvado

In the L. L. v. Sara Bilvado matter, venued in Tulare County, CA, our vocational and life care planning expert, Michele J. Albers, M.S., L.P.C., C.R.C., C.L.C.P., was retained by Defense counsel at Tyson & Mendes to provide rebuttal opinions. Multiple glaring methodological flaws were found throughout the Plaintiff-retained damages experts’ opinions, which were refuted by using published, peer-reviewed methodology. Plaintiff’s counsel asked for an award of $4,000,000, and Defense asked the jury to award $40,000.  The jury came back with a verdict of $44,000. This was a monumental accomplishment for all involved, and we were extremely pleased to help achieve this end result.
