G. P. v. Goex Corporation, et al.

October 3, 2024

Michele J. Albers, M.S., L.P.C., C.R.C., C.L.C.P., was retained by Defense counsel at Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker to provide an Earning Capacity Evaluation on the Plaintiff, following a slip and fall accident. Plaintiff claimed he sustained a shoulder injury during this accident that precluded him from working entirely. Following a thorough review of records, Ms. Albers was able to provide a methodologically sound rebuttal to the Plaintiff’s vocational expert’s opinions. After the case settled at mediation, our retaining attorney had the following to say about Ms. Albers’ work on the case: “The vocational analysis was very helpful in settlement negotiations. It assisted with an argument negating the majority of the Plaintiff’s past and future wage loss. Ms. Albers’ reliance on our medical expert’s analysis strengthened our overall position/front and, in my opinion, was too strong for the Plaintiffs to overcome. They could not pick apart either analysis.”
