P. P. v. American Reliable Insurance Company

Michele J. Albers, M.S., L.P.C., C.R.C., C.L.C.P., Vocational and Life Care Planning Expert of Vocational Diagnostics, was retained by Plaintiff’s counsel, Habush Habush & Rottier, in Wisconsin, to prepare a Life Care Plan for the Plaintiff who sustained a traumatic leg amputation in the same motor vehicle accident in which her husband also unfortunately was killed. In addition to the grief of losing her husband, she was faced with a myriad of difficulties following her injuries, including learning to navigate life as a wheelchair ambulator, adjusting to new ways to perform her activities of daily living independently, and re-learning how to do several of her previously enjoyed hobbies. Following disclosure of our Assessment of Future Care Needs and Life Care Plan (LCP), as well as Ms. Albers’ deposition in 2022 and trial testimony in 2024, an overwhelming Plaintiff-forward verdict was reached – the Plaintiff will receive $4.12 million. This was a tremendous success for Ms. Albers and the trial team.
