Sydney Thompson, M.Ed., C.R.C
Sydney Thompson, M.Ed., C.R.C. is a certified rehabilitation counselor (CRC) and has a post-graduate degree in Forensic Vocational Rehabilitation.
She earned her Master of Education degree from Auburn University and completed her post-graduate certificate in Forensic Vocational Rehabilitation through the University of Florida. She has worked with the federal government as a vocational rehabilitation counselor and was responsible for providing counseling and case management services to severely disabled veterans with complicated rehabilitation plans. She provided career counseling, including counseling veterans on job search strategies, and provided assistance and guidance with resume and cover letter writing, job interviewing and networking.
She also has experience working as a vocational evaluator with non-profits. She evaluated and assessed the vocational potential of consumers with mental and physical disabilities using psychometric testing in order to work with their rehabilitation counselor to determine the best employment options for the consumer. She has experience conducting labor market surveys and is a member of the National Council on Rehabilitation Education and the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals.
Sydney lives in Auburn, Alabama and works primarily out of the Boulder and Denver offices.
